Sandeep S Dhami BSc (Hons) MRPharmS
Sandeep Dhami is an experienced Pharmacy Superintendent at MW Phillips Chemists. He is also the Director of HR and is affiliated with various LPC’s including Birmingham and Coventry. Sandeep is a member of the Association of Independent Multiples (AIMp) management committee and has contributed to discourse and policy on professional and ethical standards as well as procurement and pharmacy regulatory changes. Sandeep is a forward thinking people champion who will offer unrivalled knowledge in judging this award category.
As Director of Qualifications, Richard is responsible for the RSPH Awarding Organisation. Staff in this area develop and maintain RSPH’s extensive suite of public health qualifications, while ensuring that centres receive their exam papers on time, and successful candidates receive their certificates. Richard is also RSPH’s designated Responsible Officer and is accountable to the UK qualification regulators: Ofqual, Qualifications Wales and the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA). Richard joined the Royal Society for the Promotion of Health in 2000 as the Senior Education Officer, and became Head of Qualification Development before being appointed Director of Qualifications in 2014. Richard has a PhD in biology and, after obtaining a Certificate in Education, taught in the further education sector at all levels from GCSE to Master’s Degree. During this time, Richard taught on a number of nursing degree programmes and was course leader for the National Diploma in Health Studies and a range of Higher National Diplomas and Higher National Certificates in Applied Biology.
Nanette is dually qualified in pharmacy and law and runs her own management consultancy. She has had an extensive career in community pharmacy across both the independent and multiple sectors, including CEO of the Company Chemists’ Association, Director of Pharmacy at the National Pharmacy Association and Head of Professional Service Development for Boots UK Ltd.
After leading and growing his family business for many years, David successfully oversaw the division of the company, becoming owner and Managing Director of Evans Pharmacy. David has extensive experience guiding the industry, having served as a long term member of the PSNC, guest lecturing at various universities and as chairman of the Pharmacy Trailblazer group. For many years, David has been instrumental in the development of his staff, having seen many colleagues through registration to become pharmacy technicians and his insight as a judge into this award is second to none.
Colin Baldwin is the Chief Executive of AIM – the Association of Independent Multiple Pharmacies, which represents the interests of small to medium pharmacy chains. Prior to joining AIM, Colin was the Chief Executive of the CCA and before that worked for Boots in a number of positions including that of Pharmacy Superintendent.
Alexis Kingsbury is a serial entrepreneur. He has founded 8 start-ups at various points since the age of 13, including Spidergap, an online resource that provides 360 feedback review software helping thousands of businesses in 134+ countries to enable employees to prioritise personal development and actually take action. Alexis has vast experience as a Management Consultant and has worked with hundreds of leaders and managers from organisations such as Sony, AstraZeneca and Britvic to help them to achieve high performance. Alexis now helps Parent Entrepreneurs (“Parentpreneurs”) to build successful businesses whilst having time with the people they love.He is passionate about developing people and believes that the apprenticeship route provides a strong foundation for a rewarding and successful career.
